Surah Maryam • Ayah 52

Mentioning Musa and HarunAfter Allah had mentioned Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah, and commended him, he next mentioned Al-Kalim (the one spoken to by Allah directly). Allah said,وَاذْكُرْ فِى الْكِتَـبِ مُوسَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ مُخْلِصاً(And mention in the Book, Musa. Verily, he was Mukhlasan) Ath-Thawri reported from `Abdul-Aziz bin Rafi`, from Abu Lubabah that he said, "The Disciples (of `Isa) said, `O Spirit of Allah, inform us about the one who is Mukhlis (purely devoted) to Allah.' He said, `That is one who does a deed solely for Allah and he does not like for the people to praise him."' Others recited the word as Mukhlas, which means that he was chosen. This is as Allah says,إِنْى اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ(Verily, I have chosen you above men.) 7:144 Concerning Allah's statement,وَكَانَ رَسُولاً نَّبِيّاً(and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet.) Allah combined these two descriptions for him. For verily, he was one of the greatest Messengers and one of the five Messengers of Strong Will. They are Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, `Isa and Muhammad. May the blessings of Allah be upon them and all of the Prophets. Allah said,وَنَـدَيْنَـهُ مِن جَانِبِ الطُّورِ(And We called him from the side of the Tur.) means Mountالاٌّيْمَـنَ(right) It was on the right side of Musa when he went seeking a burning wood from that fire. He saw its glow in the distance, so he set out towards it and found it on the right side of the mountain from his direction, at the edge of the valley that he was in. This is when Allah, the Exalted, spoke to him and called out to him. Allah summoned him to come near and He conversed Ayah with him. Concerning His statement,وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَـرُونَ نَبِيّاً (And We granted him his brother Harun, (also) a Prophet, out of Our mercy.) This means, "We responded to his request and his plea on behalf of his brother and We made him a Prophet as well." This is as Allah says in another Ayah,وَأَخِى هَـرُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّى لِسَاناً فَأَرْسِلْهِ مَعِىَ رِدْءاً يُصَدِّقُنِى إِنِّى أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ (And my brother Harun he is more eloquent in speech than me: so send him with me as a helper to confirm me.Verily, I fear that they will belie me.) 28:34 Also, Allah said,قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يمُوسَى((Allah said: ) "You are granted your request, O Musa.") 20:36 He also said,وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِى وَلاَ يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِى فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَى هَـرُونَ - وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ (So send for Harun. And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me.) 26:13-14 Because of this, some of the Salaf (predecessors) said, "No one in this life pleaded on behalf of someone else more than Musa pleaded for his brother to be a Prophet." Allah, the Exalted said,وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَـرُونَ نَبِيّاً (And We granted him his brother Harun, (also) a Prophet, out of Our mercy.)

خلوص ابراہیم علیہ السلام ٭٭اپنے خلیل علیہ السلام کا بیان فرما کر اب اپنے کلیم علیہ السلام کا بیان فرماتا ہے۔ «مُخلَصاً» کی دوسری قرأت «مُخلِصاً» بھی ہے۔ یعنی ” وہ بااخلاص عبادت کرنے والے تھے “۔ مروی ہے کہ حواریوں نے عیسیٰ علیہ السلام سے دریافت کیا کہ ”اے روح اللہ! ہمیں بتائیے مخلص شخص کون ہے؟ آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا ”جو محض اللہ کے لیے عمل کرے، اسے اس بات کی چاہت نہ ہو کہ لوگ میری تعریفیں کریں۔‏“ دوسری قرأت میں «مُخْلَصاً» ہے یعنی اللہ کے چیدہ اور برگزیدہ بندے موسیٰ علیہ السلام جیسے فرمان باری ہے «اِنِّى اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَي النَّاسِ» [7-الأعراف:144] ‏ آپ اللہ کے نبی اور رسول تھے۔ پانچ بڑے بڑے جلیل القدر اولو العزم رسولوں میں سے ایک آپ علیہ السلام ہیں یعنی نوح، ابراہیم، موسیٰ، عیسیٰ اور محمد صلوات اللہ و سلامہ علیہم وعلی سائر الانبیاء اجمعین۔ ” ہم نے انہیں مبارک پہاڑ طور کی دائیں جانب سے آواز دی اور سرگوشی کرتے ہوئے اپنے قریب کر لیا “۔ یہ واقعہ اس وقت کا ہے جب آپ آگ کی تلاش میں طور کی طرف یہاں آگ دیکھ کر بڑھے تھے۔صفحہ نمبر5098ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ وغیرہ فرماتے ہیں، ”اس قدر قریب ہو گئے کہ قلم کی آواز سننے لگے۔‏“ مراد اس سے توراۃ لکھنے کی قلم ہے۔ سدی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں، آسمان میں گئے اور کلام باری سے مشرف ہوئے۔ کہتے ہیں، انہی باتوں میں یہ فرمان بھی ہے کہ ” اے موسیٰ! جب کہ میں تیرے دل کو شکر گزار اور تیری زبان کو اپنا ذکر کرنے والی بنا دوں اور تجھے ایسی بیوی دوں جو نیکی کے کاموں میں تیری معاون ہو تو سمجھ لے کہ میں نے تجھ سے کوئی بھلائی اٹھا نہیں رکھی اور جسے میں یہ چیزیں نہ دوں، سمجھ لے کہ اسے کوئی بھلائی نہیں ملی “۔ ” ان پر ایک مہربانی ہم نے یہ بھی کی کہ ان کے بھائی ہارون کو نبی بنا کر ان کی امداد کے لیے ان کے ساتھ کر دیا جیسے کہ آپ علیہ السلام کی چاہت اور دعا تھی “۔ فرمایا تھا «وَاَخِيْ هٰرُوْنُ هُوَ اَفْصَحُ مِنِّيْ لِسَانًا فَاَرْسِلْهُ مَعِيَ رِدْاً يُّصَدِّقُنِيْٓ ۡ اِنِّىْٓ اَخَافُ اَنْ يُّكَذِّبُوْنِ» [28-القص:34] ‏، اور آیت میں ہے «قَدْ اُوْتِيْتَ سُؤْلَكَ يٰمُوْسٰى» [20-طه:36] ‏ ” موسیٰ تیرا سوال ہم نے پورا کر دیا “۔ آپ علیہ السلام کی دعا کے لفظ یہ بھی وارد ہیں «فَاَرْسِلْ اِلٰى هٰرُوْنَ» [26-الشعراء:13] ‏ الخ، ” ہارون کو بھی رسول بنا “ الخ۔ کہتے ہیں کہ اس سے زیادہ بہتر دعا اور اس سے بڑھ کر شفاعت کسی نے کسی کی دنیا میں نہیں کی۔ ہارون موسیٰ علیہ السلام سے بڑے تھے۔ «صَلَواةُ الّلهِ وَسَلَامُه عَلَیْهِمْا» ۔صفحہ نمبر5099

آیت 51 وَاذْکُرْ فِی الْْکِتٰبِ مُوْسٰٓیز اِنَّہٗ کَانَ مُخْلَصًا وَّکَانَ رَسُوْلًا نَّبِیًّا ”ہم نے انہیں خاص اپنا بنا لیا تھا۔ یہ مضمون سورة طٰہٰ آیت 41 میں بھی آئے گا۔

مِن جَانِبِ الطُّورِ‌ الْأَيْمَنِ (The right side of the mount Tur - 19:52). This famous mountain (Tur or Sinai) rises in Syria between Madyan and Egypt, and is still known by the same name. Allah Ta’ ala has given it a distinct and special position in many ways.الْأَيْمَنِ The position of Mr is given to .the right side in relation to Sayyidna Musa (علیہ السلام) who had commenced his journey from Madyan and when he approached Tur, it was on his right side. نَجِيًّا is for whisper, مُنَاجَات is for confidential talk and نَجِی means a confidant.
